Markéta Irglová Iceland
Biography
Markéta Irglová (born 1988, Valašské Mezi?í?í, Czech Republic) is a Czech musician, songwriter and actress. She relocated several times for professional and personal reasons, from Prague, to Dublin, to New York and, since 2011, she permanently moved to Reykjavík, Iceland. Irglová began playing the piano at the age of seven and the guitar at nine, when she started learning songs by ear. She met Glen Hansard of the Irish rock band The Frames when he was visiting Prague, and started a personal relationship and a musical collaboration.
