Biography

Martina Sorbara (born November 13, 1978, in Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian singer-songwriter who performed and recorded solo between 1998 and 2005. Since 2005 she has served as the frontwoman of the Canadian new wave/electropop band Dragonette. Sorbara's solo music is a mix of pop, folk and jazz. Her debut album, Unplaceables, was released independently in 1998 and is no longer in print. Sorbara's second album, The Cure for Bad Deeds, was released independently in 2000.
