Mataplantas
Biography
Mataplantas was a band from Buenos Aires, Argentina, formed by Pablo Malaurie, Nazareno Gil, Maximiliano Garcia and Pablo De Caro. They met at drama school, except for Malaurie who was De Caro's high school friend. At late 2000 they decided to play together and begin two tours of the Argentinian beaches, and make some recordings that haven't been released yet. Halfway through 2004 they settled for the name "Mataplantas" as a group. In 2005 they edited their first record, entitled “El Sueño del Hombre Pulpo”, at Isopo/Warner.
