Biography

Metro Luminal is an Estonian post-punk/alternative rock band founded in 1986 as Ükskõik by guitarist Rainer Jancis, bassist/lyricist Mait Vaik and vocalist Allan Vainola. Couple years later they changed the band's name to Metro Luminal. Since 1989 Metro Luminal continued with bassist Kalle Nettan and drummer Kristo Rajasaare. Allan Vainola joined the Estonian band Vennaskond as the guitarist in 1991, but didn't leave Metro Luminal. The band released their albums "Coca-Cola" (recorded in 1990) and "Ainult Rottidele" (1994) in mid-1990s.
