Biography
Mind Capsule is an instrumental rock trio that specializes in a heady fusion of abstract grooves, melodic riffage and dense improvisational soundscapes. Their sound blends the primal urgency of classic power trios like Cream and Mahavishnu with the moody psychedelia of modern art-rockers like Godspeed You Black Emperor! and The Mars Volta. Primarily a live project throughout most of 2005-2006, Mind Capsule went into the studio in late '06 with producer and long-time collaborator Nik Chinboukas
