Biography
The music of Nachtwindheim is basically german medieval/folk music, which was adjusted to the musical habits of the musicans with influences of Heavy Metal, Rock and Jazz. While doing this, the band uses acoustical instruments only, which are not just Bagpipes and Drums, like many other german bands from that genre. Also Harp, Hurdy gurdy and Bouzouki are played. History The band was founded in 1998 by Tristan Hagedorn, Andramus Tavernalis and Martina Fischer from an irish folk music project.
