Biography
Singer and composer Polito Ibáñez was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, on March 29, 1965. He is one of the most outstanding personalities of the New Trova Movement during the last years, a well-known movement called Novísima Trova. Polito Ibáñez graduated as performer at the Higher Institute of Art, became a singer-composer in 1984, assuming the aesthetics of the New Trova Movement. He has given concerts in countries like Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina
