Biography
A black metal band formed in Lappeenranta, Finland in 1999 as a solo project of Shatraug. The current line-up is: Profundus - Vocals (Desolate Shrine, Lord of Pagathorn, The Crescent, Valonsurma) Shatraug - Guitars (Horna, Hoath) VJS - Guitars (Nightbringer) Abysmal - Bass Gruft - Drums The lyrical content and theme is centered mainly on depression, misanthropy, nihilism and satanism. The word "Sargeist" is a combination of the two German words "sarg" (coffin) and "geist" (spirit).
