Sea of Desperation was formed in Novovoronezh, Voronezh region, Russia in 2002 as a one-man doom metal project of Russian musician Alex Lefthander. Between 2005 and 2011, Sea of Desperation released four full-length albums, which are To My Beloved..., Spiritual Lonely Pattern, Dread Poems of the Fall, and The Shards - Witness Theatre (Part II).
