Biography

There are several bands & artists with this name. 1. Semiramis were one of the many "one-shot" progressive rock bands of the 70's in Italy. They only released one album in 1973 called "Dedicato a Frazz". They may sound a bit like Yes, Genesis or Banco del Mutuo Soccorso. The band consisted of Michele Zarrillo (guitar, vocals), Giampiero Artegiani (guitar), Marcello Reddavide (bass) and Paolo Faenza (drums). They performed for the first time at the Villa Pamphili festival in 1972.
