Biography

Ten in the Swear Jar (known by fans as TITSJ or XITSJ) was an indie/experimental band formed in 1999 after the breakup of Jamie Stewart's previous band, IBOPA. Stewart would go on to form Xiu Xiu. The band released two albums and had worked on a third unreleased work called Eat Death Orphans before breaking up a year later in July 2000. The band's roster included multi-instrumentalists Jamie Stewart, Cory McCulloch, Kurt Stumbaugh, Tim Kirby, and Don Dias.
