The Bird Ensemble
Biography
The Bird Ensemble is an instrumental band from Nashville, Tennessee. With a rotating cast of musicians helmed by guitarists Michael Hix and Kyle Williams, the group has released three albums since their formation in 2005. The members employ live recording techniques as often as possible, drawing inspiration from the jazz-fusion and minimalist movements of the 1960s and early 1970s.
