The Peanut Butter Genocide

Biography

The Peanut Butter Genocide is a Canadian synthrock band from Regina, SK. Using a mix of synths, guitars, and live electronic sampling, the band finds its place between battling fronts of 70s rock and new age psychedelia. The band's first album Mood Bedroom Meter (2012), was written and recorded by frontman Andy Goodson in the woods of Duck Mountain Provincial Park. The album is heavily laced with homemade wildlife recordings, distorted super nintendo samples, and beats ripped from old VHS tapes.
