Biography
Uldis Stabulnieks (1945- 2012) was a Latvian jazz pianist and popular music composer. Starting out in the underground Soviet jazz scene as a member of various bands, including a collaboration with trumpeter Gun?rs Rozenbergs, Stabulnieks eventually went on to become one of the most prolific Latvian composers of popular music. Despite his songs becoming standard repertoire for various Latvian pop singers and writing scores for a number of Latvian movies
