Biography
v01d is the project of Toronto’s Joseph Byer. With influences ranging from Faith No More to Pop Will Eat Itself to Haujobb, v01d is a mixture of the more cerebral elements found in techno, rock, hiphop, dubstep and drum’n'bass. 2009 was a fruitful year for v01d, seeing the release of his first single Weakener, his first full-length release This is Not a False Alarm Anymore and its companion album Burnt Upon Re-Entry. In addition to v01d, joseph has worked as a collaborator in Ayria, with Jennifer Parkin.
