Biography
Waive was formed in Osaka in early 2000 by guitarist Yoshinori Sugimoto (????) and vocalist Takayuki Tazawa (????), although those two were quickly joined by drummer Makoto and another guitarist, Takashi Ninokata (Rui) (????). They released their first demo tape, "Spanner", during their first live in April of 2000 and their first single, "Pink Distortion", was released in October.
