Biography

William Augusta Trice (February 10, 1911, Hillsborough, NC, USA - December 10, 1976, Durham, NC, USA) was a blues guitarist and singer. Willie Trice was the brother of Richard Trice, earning a reputation by his own right playing his modern country blues and recording several albums over a span of three decades with Rich, including, 'Carolina Blues' featuring, 'Come On In Here Mama.' He played what was known locally as Piedmont Blues and was rather well known in the area during the 1930s and 1940s.
