Biography
Kanako Hoshino (????, born December 3, 1979 in Tokyo) is a Japanese Pop singer-songwritter. She was one of the winners of the Bemani Vocalist Audition in 2004, and that same year she debuted providing two songs for beatmania IIDX RED: "?? ?T?A?I?Y?O? and "D.A.N.C.E.!". In July 2006 she released her first mini-album, Eight Elements of the Star, which contained long versions of her existing songs. In early 2009 she released Prism, her first major debut album with Columbia Music Entertainment.
