(Yoriko Ichinomiya) is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, dancer, model and soccer player born in Yokohama, Japan, whose often sad, slow-paced, dark-themed songs could be described as contemporary folk with some jazz and chamber music influence. Yoriko's lyrics are written in English or Japanese and either whispered or sung in a nonchalant, dreamy way. The minimal arrangements create an intimate atmosphere which is sometimes reminiscent of ambient music.
