Yum!Yum!ORANGE

Biography

Yum!Yum!ORANGE first began in 1999 as a seven-member group (with a saxophone player and a different vocalist). As a self-proclaimed "girl pop meets ska" band, Yum!Yum!ORANGE stepped into and redefined musical territory that had been first breached by the likes of the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra. In 2000, the band released two demo tapes and played at small-scale lives, while slowly but surely gaining a positive reputation. In the following years Yum!Yum!ORANGE would work with bands such as B-Dash
