Zeb and Haniya Pakistan
Biography
The Zeb and Haniya (Zay-b and Ha-nee-ya) band is a project started by two musicians, Zebunnisa Bangash and Haniya Aslam. The band is primarily Lahore-based; however, Haniya’s hometown is Islamabad, and a lot of the work involved takes them to Karachi often. Though the music and sound of Zeb and Haniya is hard to confine to one genre, it has been described at various times as Alternative, Art Folk, Ethnic Blues, World Music and Easy Listening.
