Biography
Strong Nova Scotian mix of rock, country, and Celtic (including instrumentals, fiddle, bagpipes), this is the successor band to the popular Mackeel. Cuillin (kü-'lin) -named for the famous mountain on Isle of Skye - hail from Nova Scotia and are one of the great bands to come out of the Canadian Maritime Province and East Coast tradition. Consisting of former members of such east coast stalwarts as The Kitchen Devils, MacKeel, Connemara, and the Dave Carmichael Band, with the Junior World Bagpipe Champion tossed in to liven up the mix.
